What a strange year or so it’s been…
We went from playing around 100 games a year, to playing a fraction of that number in the space of one and a half years, thanks to injury problems combined with a global pandemic.
I decided to use the time off from the usual routine to try and rebuild the Lock Us Up website, taking the site down “for a couple of weeks” while I did this. A couple of weeks quickly turned into a year, with plenty of procrastination meaning we’ve only just today put the site live again.
It’s got a bit of a new look, though there’s still plenty to do, but for now, all of our old reviews are back and there’s more on the way.
We’re getting back out onto the road again, playing some games we’ve been looking forward to for a very long time. Incredibly, I haven’t written a review for a game since late 2019, but I’m looking forward to picking up where we left off.
This week, we’ve got a two day trip to Nottingham. It’s easily one of our favourite UK locations for escape rooms, thanks to venues such as Escapologic, who blew us away the second we stepped into our first game there, and Cryptology, whose latest Daylight Robbery room has been getting a lot of high praise from enthusiasts.
We can’t wait to get back into the world of escape rooms once again, and hopefully we’ll hit the 350 milestone at some point this year!
